Women in Consumer Technology: CEDIA Sponsor Spotlight

It is an exciting time to be part of the technology industry – and all of us at CEDIA are thankful to Women in Consumer Technology for the ways they have helped drive community and collaboration in the channel.

It was not long after I joined CEDIA that I became acquainted with Women in Consumer Technology, the annual breakfast at our show is always a highlight and last year I had the privilege of attending my first Women in Consumer Technology Forum.

I always think it is valuable to take time to pursue professional development – and being able to focus through the lens of the female professional experience is a rare and wonderful opportunity. Last year I really enjoyed hearing from Sam Horn about winning buy-in and connecting with anyone through effective communication. Being able to dive into topics and have thoughtful conversations with the other women in the industry was very insightful and meaningful.

The topic of this year’s Women in Consumer Technology’s Forum “Design Your Life: A Road-map to Success Amid Change” feels particularly relevant for all of us – the reality of working in this industry is that we see near constant change as we work to adapt to the shifting technology landscape. I look forward to seeing everyone again this year and sharing the experience with some of my fellow CEDIA women.
